We feel that our attention to detail, extra quirks and slightly worrying need to be spot on gives us the flare that sets us aside from the rest.

3 SIDED CUBE is based in Bournemouth. We have a team who are really passionate about what they do (go and have a nosey at their profiles), all with a range of different personalities and strengths and that's exactly why it works.

DUNCAN COOK

MANAGING DIRECTOR

With a degree in 3D design in his back pocket, bags of creativity and a vision of solving world peace, Duncan set up 3 SIDED CUBE. Duncan runs the show on a day to day basis; project managing, account managing and inflicting his, err "eclectic" music taste on the team. He's one of the most chilled out people you'll meet, that's until you mention a competition. If there's a bet, a dare or a challenge, an uncontrollable competitiveness appears and his desire to win takes over.

PHILLIP CAUDELL

Senior iOS Developer & Designer

Phillip's been developing and designing apps for the iPhone since day 1. With over 4 years experiencing gushing over Apple's latest tech, he's been leading 3 SIDED CUBE's mobile team creating award winning apps. When he's not busy being Apple's ultimate fanboy, he enjoys the occasional trip to Disney World to have a good ol' time. Zippity-doo-dah.

Sophie Hardiman

Operations manager

The Wendy to our Lost Boys, Sophie is the most organised person in the office and puts this to good use at 3 SIDED CUBE, ensuring that projects run smoothly, clients are satisfied and that team productivity is at an optimum level.

Sophie loves a good spreadsheet and believes there isn't a problem that can't be solved with Google Docs. Pet hates include overpromising/under-delivering and Nicholas Cage.

Steve Adams

Software Developer

You know those people who disable Javascript when they visit a website? No, us neither - until we met Steve. Steve could produce an entire dissertation on whether curly braces should be placed on the same line or a new line; maybe it's because he studied Computer Science and Cybernetics at Reading University, or maybe because he's incredibly pedantic. Either way, Steve is a welcome addition to the 3 SIDED CUBE® mega corp family. (PS: We advise you keep Javascript enabled for this bad boy).

 

Tom Bell

Mobile Developer

Tom can be found either in the corner or, after a complete office reshuffle, in the corner. After several 'random' spins of the Wheel Of Tea, he still gets picked almost every time.

COCOA CAUDELL

Customer Support

Our youngest and hairiest team member, Cocoa is the go-to-girl for any customer queries. She is constantly yapping on the phone which sends the rest of us in the office barking mad. She describes herself as a professional pedigree that's a little ruff round the edges, after all its a dog eat dog world out there.

MARC BILES

NON EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Marc is basically a cross between a business version of Super Nanny and Alan Titchmarsh, giving us gold stars when we complete our work on time, sending us to the naughty step when we leave the office in a mess, but always lovingly nurturing our rapidly growing business.
Marc has an unrivalled fashion sense, emanating from a wardrobe consisting of 14 plain black t-shirts, 5 identical pairs of blue jeans and a colourful array of Adidas classic trainers. He calls that his "consistency of design" theory.

CALLUM TAYLOR

LEAD ANDROID ENGINEER

With 8 years of programming experience topped with no degree , it was only a matter of time before Callum teleportled on to the 3 SIDED CUBE intergalactic battleship . He prides himself on knowing pointless languages, and also having no faults whatsoever . Aside from helping 3SC take over the world, one app at a time, he likes to put his über micro to work for the swarm and writes his own apps/software.

DAN GOUGH

Web Designer / Video Editor / Visionary / Tea Maker / Character limit exceeded

You need a job doing? We'll get Dan to it. You may of heard the term "being multifaceted"; we just call it "being a Dan". Dan handles all web projects, as well as some wireframes, videos, and just about anything actually, now that we think about it. If Dan could be any fruit, he reckons he would be a pineapple, "because they have really cool hair". Thanks to Dan's impressive web design skills, and more importantly his remarkable tea-making expertise, he is right at home at 3 SIDED CUBE. Consider yourself informed.

Matt Cheetham

iOS Developer

Matt is currently training as a master of technology at University whilst working at 3 SIDED CUBE. Nobody actually knows what he does but we're sure its something that involves a lot of hard work and dedication.

Trained and built to perfection by the 3 SIDED CUBE team, Matt is a custom made iOS Slave capable of making really awesome apps. 

JANAKA LAKMAL

SOFTWARE DEVELOPER

After first studying in Sri Lanka then coming over to England to complete a masters degree at  Bournemouth University, Janaka has got 7 years of web development under his belt and has a keen interest in different web development methods. He's the dark horse of the company, he works silently but creates some outstanding work.

Before starting work, Janaka likes to prepare with a yoghurt or eight. The calcium seems to work wonders. When he's not building complex websites Janaka enjoys keeping fit by cycling and enjoys a range of TV programmes from documentaries to period dramas to Absolutely Fabulous.

PR & Marketing Work Placement

3 Sided Cube is a Bournemouth based digital agency focused on building a talented team and developing industry leading websites and apps for some truly great clients, including the British and American Red Cross, Boots and the RNLI.

Our goal is to create exceptional user experiences. We're not interested in churning out mediocre websites or apps; we're only interested in great digital experiences that make us proud of what we have produced.

About You

We are looking for a creative individual with drive, talent, bags of potential and a great attitude. This opportunity is ideally suited for someone who enjoys the full scope of PR & Marketing and is prepared to be thrown in at the deep end.

ONE LAST THING:

We are looking for someone for a summer placement, but we have spaces available immediately (April 2013) 

You will have the opportunity to get your hands dirty and work with a strong and progressively thinking company. You need to be able to take on and own your projects, and have the confidence in your ideas and execution.

We will be here for help and guidance, but ultimately the right person will take this opportunity to make their mark and help build our PR & marketing strategy. You will be involved with press releases, awards entries, copywriting for our blog and other outlets, social media and various other tasks - we encourage pro-active action and freethinking, so the outcome of this experience is limited only by what you want to achieve.
