This world needs a hero!
There’s a thin line between hero and villain…
AI is revealing more of its superpowers and is playing a bigger role than ever, with a big impact on society!
As we know, AI isn’t just the future. It’s already shaping the present in ways we couldn’t have imagined six months ago!
That’s why we’ve created our second AI report
“Harnessing AI for good: adoption trends in the charity sector”
We released our first report six months ago, and although that might not seem like a long time ago, so much has shifted in the last half-year.
Now, we’re back with another pulse check.
How much has changed? Are we any closer to AI becoming the true game-changer we know it can be? And are more organisations harnessing it for good?
We’ve reached out to thousands of decision-makers from purpose led organisations across the globe to find out.
No superhero story is straight forward. We’re witnessing AI's essential character development arc!
So let's get started, as we give you a sneak peek into our findings and what this will mean for your organisation
Why we care about AI
At 3 Sided Cube, we’re not just watching on the sidelines.
We’re building, innovating, and leveraging AI to create tech that’s changing millions of lives for the better.
The journey continues, and with each step, we’re cautiously optimistic about what AI can do for the planet and its people.
With 15+ years of custom software solutions under our belt, we are positioned at the intersection of innovation and compassion, serving as the trusted sidekick to AI’s emerging superheroes, harnessing its power to tackle our biggest global challenges.
Now we’re able to share what we found! With the hopes of helping YOU - no matter what stage of the AI journey you may be at.
Our hero’s story so far…
It’s great to be able to look at our findings and what implications they have for purpose-led organisations. But do you know what’s even better?
Being able to quantify these findings by comparing them to our first AI pulse check!
In our last report the key insights were:
70% of charities had AI adoption concerns,
64% were confident in the future of AI,
Yet only 11% had full integration of AI,
However, we’ve seen big changes in the past six months.Anyone can be a hero; it’s the choices we make that define us
Artificial Intelligence has had an undeniable impact on all of us, but there are a few remaining questions around its adoption in the ‘for good’ space.
Anyone can be a hero, including AI, but it’s the choices we make that define it.
The results are in!
42% are saying that ethical concerns like data privacy and bias impact AI adoption. It's clear that nonprofits are focused on building responsible AI from the start.
67% say they're likely to keep expanding AI in the next year. This is up from 50% in April 2024. There's optimism that AI can deliver real value, and more organisations are ready to go further.
Only 2% of organisations report full AI integration. This is down from 14% in April 2024. This suggests a cautious, measured approach as teams get familiar with what it really takes to go all in on AI.
Only 32% have established solid AI usage policies. This is up from 29% in April 2024. Many are still figuring out their approach or waiting for industry standards, showing a clear need for more guidance to keep AI in check.
55% are reporting more challenges than wins with AI. As more teams get hands-on, they're discovering AI's real complexities, not just its promise.
And this is only the beginning of our findings!
