We knew the problem, so we put our heads together and dreamt big. We came up with the concept of "Blood Hero" and wanted a unique way of presenting the idea to the American Red Cross, so we created the video you see below.
The American Red Cross loved it, but we wanted to make sure users love it. We begun rapidly prototyping on-site at a blood donation centre in New Jersey with real donors to make sure what we were building was right.
We flew out and embedded ourselves in the donation centre to find out what it was users actually needed.
