The past 2 years have been massive catalysts for change across pretty much every sector, but perhaps one of the most significant areas is healthcare. From huge advancements in the NHS offering digital appointments with your doctor becoming the norm, to research and data sharing in the global race for a global vaccine rollout, technology has been instrumental in significant changes made across healthcare.

In the best of times, the topic of healthcare has proven to be a pretty hot topic, but throw in a global pandemic, and it makes it all the more of an essential conversation to be had.

The world as we know it has irrevocably changed over the course of these past two, very uncertain, years. Job roles, schooling and entire industries had to flip the way they operated on a dime. Thanks to technology, these massive changes were able to happen, and we’ve seen across many sectors that there is no going back.

Healthcare has proven that to be extraordinarily true. In the 26 months since COVID-19 hit, it is reported that 78% of clinics have increased in their digital support and offerings than what they did BC (before COVID). That massive leap has allowed patients to get virtual care that they otherwise might not have been able to without putting themselves or an office full of healthcare workers at risk to be seen.

It has completely streamlined the process of seeking and accessing healthcare, and it has been an interesting transition to happen right before our eyes! Which is why our Hosts with the most, Managing Director, Rich Strachan and Head of New Business, Gabby Crouch were keen to kick off this event and start the discussion.

Some of our tech for good in healthcare

We have been honoured to partner with amazing clients and build some pretty cool tech for health and care. Our mission is to change millions of lives for the better, and it’s been amazing striving for that mission with the digital healthcare movement. Our hosts set the scene talking through just a couple of the cool projects we have been a part of.

Check out those projects here:

Saving Lives With The World's First Blood Tracking App

An App To Support Parents of Children With An Acquired Brain Injury

In the near decade that we have been working on projects in healthcare we have seen just how powerful the impact is when users can access life-saving information, or take control over their own health right from their own devices. Users have more autonomy now more than ever over their own health and care and we can’t wait to be a part of more exciting innovation that ensure proper healthcare can be accessed by all.

As you can imagine, our panel of healthcare experts had a lot of thoughts!

Meet our all-star panel

Each panellist had such a differing and specific role in the healthcare field so the conversation was really insightful. Here is the roster of our dream team panel for this event so you can follow all the exciting things they are up to:

Some of the discussion points brought to the panel were:

The conversations had and insights from each panellists experience was eye-opening and fascinating to hear. Chris Sawyer, put it beautifully when he said,

One day we won't call it digital healthcare but just healthcare, and digital will be the enabler to how health and care are delivered. null
