12 Days of Cubemas #11: Volunteering at Waggy Tails Dog Rescue

On the penultimate day of CUBEMAS... We went to see doggos at the Waggy Tails Dog Rescue, and helped the staff take care of man’s best friends whilst we were there. Unfortunately these kinds of dog rescue centres get especially busy over the Christmas period! This plus the chance to meet some furry friends was all the inspiration we needed.

Our team of talented techies have volunteered their time to some great local charities and fundraising tasks. But when we announced day eleven’s task, there were audible gasps in the 3 SIDED CUBE HQ.

“Yes, yeah, ahhhh, doggos, yesssa!!!”

One excited app developer

It’s no secret we love a puppa and regularly invite our team to bring in their pets, yes we are recruiting if you fancy playing with fur balls all day as well as being part of the UK’s top app agency. So we wanted one of our activities to share some love with our canine friends.

After all ’tis the season for goodwill to all men puppies! We headed over to Waggy Tails Dog Rescue to give them a hand walking the pups and sharing some Christmas joy.

We got to meet many of the abandoned pets, including Maisie, who need good homes. With three pets abandoned every hour over the Christmas period we knew the rescue home would need some much-needed supplies for the festive period.

As an app development company that works with charities regularly, we were more than happy to donate a hamper full of dog treats, toys and foods to keep their doggy stockings stocked up.

After spending some time with the excitable dogs, our even more excited gang headed back to HQ with our hearts full of joy following the puppy pamper session, ready to take on our next charitable deed.

In the meantime check out our recent app for more animals we love: RSPB – Giving nature a home.

So that rounds off the eleventh day of CUBEMAS.
